  • Key identification features : Medium-sized tree; Bark brownish, smooth, defoliating in longitudinal scrolls; Leaves 2-5 by 0.2-0.4 cm, glossy green above, white beneath, apex acute, base rounded truncate or partly subcordate; Seed ellipsoid, about 1.2 by 2.5 cm, with a short apical point and attenuate towards the base.
