  • Key identification features : Tree, about 10m tall; Branchlets slender, glabrous; Leaves deciduous, 6–9 × 5–8 cm, papery, base rounded, usually 5-lobed, lobes triangular-ovate, margin entire, abaxial surface pale green, densely yellow-grey tomentose, adaxial surface dark green, glabrous; Inflorescence corymbose, 5-6 cm, surface glabrous; Sepals 5, green, oblong, about 3mm long, petals 5, obovate, 4-5 mm long, stamens, ovary pubescent, style about 1.9mm long, glabrous, stigmas revolute; Fruit greenish yellow, nutlets slightly flattened, about 1.2 cm × 6–7 mm, wing 3.5–4 × about 1.2 cm, wings spread nearly horizontally.
