  • Key identification features : Tree, older branches blackish-brown, becomes glabrous with age, dotted with elliptic lenticels; Leaves pinnately compound, up to 15cm long, composed of 8-10 pairs of leaflets, rachis slightly pubescent, slightly winged; Leaflets nearly sessile, linear-lanceolate, base unequal, rounded-cuneate, apex shortly acute, margin almost uniformly crenate-serrate from near the base, upper surface green, scarcely hairy, lower surface slightly glaucous, pubescent along the midrib, up to 2.8 cm long, 0.7–0.8 cm wide, stipules small, partly deciduous; Inflorescence medium-sized, slightly pubescent or almost glabrous; Fruit globose, about 7-8mm diameter, yellowish-red when mature, sepals suberect, style 5, persistent.
