  • Key identification features : Small tree, completely glabrous; Leaves abruptly pinnate, rachis very short, glabrous, leaflets 1-2 pairs, oval to somewhat oval, slightly oblique, very shortly petiolulate, 1.5–2 inches (3.8–5 cm) long, margin entire, chartaceous, apex emarginate; Inflorescence shortm simple racemes, borne at the ends of branchlets; Flowers small, whitish, 2 small, small, concave, boat-shaped, persistent bracteoles present below the calyx, calyx smooth, calyx tube about 8.5mm long, lobes obovate-oblong, equal in length; Fruit pod, thinly coriaceous, oblong pod, 3-4 inches long, 1-1.5 inches wide, slightly curved along the thickened margins, surface glabrous.
