  • Key identification features : Tall shrub or small tree, up to 10m high; Leaves ovate, bipinnate with 2 pairs of pinnae, pinnae ovate-falcate, 16–30 mm long × 10–20 mm wide; Inflorescence raceme, short, each raceme bears 2-10 flowers; Flowers rusty brown; Calyx 10-12mm, base narrow-turbinate or tubular, lobes very short, surface appressed-pubescent; Petals obovate, 12-15mm long, silky on outer surface; Stamens exserted, filaments 15-20mm long; Fruit pod, lsightly convex at maturity, compressed, 5–12 cm long × 25–40 mm wide, calyx detached from the stipe, forming a membranous tubular sheath; Seeds 1-6 per pod.
