  • Key identification features : Phyllodes falciform, somewhat obtuse, mucronate, petiole with pitted gland; Inflorescence terminal, paniculate, tomentose, panicle foliose below, bearing smaller phyllodes, lower phyllodes uncinate at the apex, lowest axillary raceme pedunculate, about 3 inches long, raceme floriferous throughout its length, flower heads numerous, mostly solitary, peduncles tomentose, 1-1.5 inches long; Bracts minute; Sepals 5-6, free almost to the base, spathulate, obtuse, glandular-pubescent; Petals free, oblanceolate, about 1.5 times longer than sepals; Ovary puberulous.
