  • Key identification features : Shrub or small tree, 5-6m high; Branches long, slender, brown or greyish, internodes short; Leaves alternate, 35–55 mm long × 3–5 mm broad, nearly even width throughout, margin slightly revolute sometimes, upper surface green or slightly silvery, lower surface somewhat tomentose, dull white, indumentum may have rust-coloured stellate hairs or be without them; Fruits elliptic, 5–7 mm long × 3–5 mm broad, peduncle about 2mm long; Seeds elliptic, very flat, furrowed, covering parchment-like hull, difficult to remove, about 4.5mm long.
