  • Key identification features : Shrub or tree, up to 20m high; Inflorescence few-flowered, 12-22cm long, surface glabrous; Flowers unpleasant smell, stamens inserted near the base of the corolla tube, positioned about 7-10mm from the base, ovary glabrous, about 2mm high, style and style head about 10mm long; Fruits fleshy, free from each other, subglobose, about 6-11cm diameter; Seeds furrowed, 10–12 × 5–7 × 4–6.5 mm, possess orange aril surrounding the seed.
