  • Key identification features : Large trees; Leaves compound, opposite or in whorls of three, 20-35cm long, leaflets 5-9, 10-15cm long, 3-6cm broad, elliptic to obovate, apex acuminate, margin entire to slightly crenate or serrulate, upper surface dark green, lower surface paler green, indumentum slightly pubescent along midrib and prominent veins; Flowers: calyx absent, corolla absent, anthers sessile, pistil greatly exceeding the anthers, stigma divided into two lobes; Fruits samara, lanceolate, 3–4 cm long; 6–8 mm broad, arrangement pendulous, decussate panicles, rachis 4-8cm long.
