  • Key identification features : Shrub or small tree, up to 5m high, multistemmed, branches slender, smooth, wrinkled, covered with glandular hairs; Leaves velvety, 40-200mm diameter, roundish to roughly triangular, upper half sometimes lobed, apex pointed, base deeply indented (cordate), margins roundly toothed, upper surface green, covered with short dense hairs, lower surface silvery or greyish-white, densely covered with velvety hairs; Flowers white, often with deep pink centre, turns brown with age, borne in bunches in axils of upper leaves, pedicel hairy; Fruit capsule, covered with dense yellowish hairs; Seeds small, brown, pitted.
