  • Key identification features : Bushy, spreading shrub to small tree, 2-4m high, bark green in young plants; Branchlets often ultimately pendent, angled at extremities, glabrous, usually pruinose; Phyllodes very narrowly elliptic, straight, 5–14 cm long × 2.5–8 mm wide, glabrous, finely mucronate apex, midvein prominent, lateral veins obscure or not evident, one inconspicuous gland present 1–10 mm above pulvinus, pulvinus 1-2mm long; Inflorescence axillary raceme, raceme axis 2-4cm long, peduncles 6-10mm long, glabrous, raceme enclosed before opening by imbricate bracts about 5 mm long; Flowers heads, globose, 12-17 flowers per head, 5-8mm diameter, pale yellow to lemon yellow; Fruit pod, straight to slightly curved, barely to slightly constricted between seeds, 5–13 cm long × 6–12 mm wide, thinly leathery, glabrous, commonly pruinose.
