  • Key identification features : Evergreen shrub or small tree, 5 m tall, basal diameter 16 cm; bark slightly thickened, grey, roughly cracked. Leaflets oblong to oblong-lanceolate, 4–8 cm long; upper surface dark green, underside dull light green; petiole short; stipules small or absent. Inflorescence axes puberulous to almost villous; pedicel and calyx cream; corolla, filaments, and pistil white; anthers light yellow. Flowers slightly fragrant. Fruit a black drupe.
