  • Key identification features : Tree, spreading; Leaves ovate-lanceolate, 5.0–7.5 × 1.1–2.7 cm, acuminate, shortly caudate, cuneate or attenuate at base, secondary veins 0.4–1.4 mm apart; Inflorescence paniculate-cymose, terminal and axillary, 10–14 cm long, 6–10 cm in diameter; hypanthium 5.0–7.5 cm long, absent or 1.8 mm long; pyriform fruit, ca. 3.8 mm long, 6–8 mm across; obconic calyx, 3.2–4.7 mm long, 2.5–3.5 mm wide, 4 calyptrate; stamens c. 6.5 mm long; cylindric style, c. 6.3 mm long.
