  • Key identification features : Tall trees. Bark rough. Branchlets spread in an umbel-like pattern. Leaves short-petiolate, ovate to oblong-elliptic, acuminate, crenate-serrate with serrations marked by short, pale, conical, deciduous calluses. Leathery in texture, glossy on both sides, olive-green when dry, paler underneath. Base obtuse or slightly oblique. Secondary veins 14–16 on each side, thin and spreading. Inflorescence axillary-fasciculate. Stamens 8-21. Drupes flattened, obovoid.
