  • Key identification features : Trees with cylindrical, glabrous branches; leaves oblong with long acuminate tips, and broadly rounded base; Inflorescence axillary, simple or with few branches, much shorter than the leaf. Flowers subsessile with 5-toothed calyx and 5-lobed disk. Stamens twice as long as the calyx. Ovary in male flowers is abortive, clavate, grayish-pubescent, and extends beyond the calyx.
