  • Key identification features : Leaves simple, alternate, ovate-elliptic, pointed, base rounded; lateral nerves about 9 pairs. Male flowers in pairs of 3-4. Stamens 12, 3 at the base, 6 higher up, and 3 at the base of the corolla lobes, anthers 2 mm. pointed. Fruit 3 cm, round, 6-celled. Seeds 3, endosperm mottled.
