  • Key identification features : A highly branched, evergreen tree. Exudate yellowish. Branchlets 4-angled. Leaves coriaceous, ovate to elliptic-ovate, obtusely acuminate, shiny green above with closely set nerves, uniform on both surfaces. Racemes in axils, erect, about half the leaf length, bearing 6–8 flowers. Pedicels spreading, Flowers about 5 mm in diameter. Sepals four; outer broadly ovate, subacute; inner broadly obovate, rounded, membranous, veined; Petals absent. Stamens numerous. Style slightly longer than sepals. Fruit green.
