  • Key identification features : Deciduous tree 9–12 m tall, dbh 8–20 cm; bark thick, fissured, flaking, brown or thin, smooth to slightly roughened, greyish; inner bark pink; branchlets green. Leaf blades dark green to yellow green above, dull light green below. Inflorescence axes light green. Calyx, petals, filaments very pale light green; petals fimbriate, yellow; anthers cream to yellow; disc and style red; stigma and style maroon. Fruits green.
