  • Key identification features : Glabrous tree, about 50 m high. Leaves pinnate, the uppermost pair of leaflets with a truncate gland-like structure. lower ones smaller, ovate to ovate-oblong, upper ones narrower, sub-lanceolate-oblong, apex shortly and sharply or obtusely apiculate, 2.5–12 cm long. Flowers greenish; racemes erect, axillary and terminal, with oval bracts and a calyx, both slightly whitish-pubescent on both sides, tube 1.2 cm long, stipitate at the base, with deciduous bracteoles. Ovary highly exserted, Legume horizontal, 15–23 cm long, about 8 cm wide with an arched seed-bearing margin.
