  • Key identification features : Small deciduous tree, 8–21 m tall, diameter ~26 cm; Bark thin, greyish, peeling vertically in strips to expose a smooth, pale greyish inner surface. Leaves immature, upper surface dull dark green, lower surface greyish-tan. Branchlets and inflorescences dull light green. Flowers with cream to pale yellow calyx, whitish corolla and filaments, and tan anthers.
